In the short 16 years since she left Rio Mesa, Devi Rao has not only risen to the top of her profession, but has done so in a way that has benefitted countless individuals less fortunate than herself. After her graduation from Rio Mesa in 2001, Devi majored in history at U.C. Berkeley, graduating summa cum laude, and spending a year abroad in Budapest, Hungary. Pass the word that the classes of '76, '77 & '78 have planned a "mini-reunion" for Homecoming weekend. The first chance for these RMHS grads to get together will be at the Football game on Friday night, September 22, as the CIF #1 ranked Spartans take on the Cleveland Cavaliers from Reseda at 7:00pm. After-game refreshments at a local restaurant TBA. On Saturday, classmates plan to meet in the Quad from 11:00am-3:00pm for lunch, reminiscing, and a campus tour. The cost is $5.
